The Rattendorfer Alm in the Carnic Alps is surrounded by idyllic alpine meadows where cows graze in summer. The homemade cheese is particularly popular. Not possible to reach the hut from this side( from Stranigeralm), only if you carry your bike for a long hike!

The gorge is really beautiful and the best thing is that the water of the mountain stream is really drinkable! Only the "round trip" is not recommended.
