The connecting monument is a building built during the National Socialist era in the municipality of Oberschützen in southern Burgenland. It was built in 1938/39 to honor the “annexation” of Austria to the National Socialist German Reich.

Worth seeing church in the center of Oberschützen. Unfortunately it is closed most of the time and only open during church services.
