There are several bunkers along the way as part of the border security against the class enemy from the West - let's hope that this border never has to be secured like this again, it's much better to be able to walk along here like today. If I'm recognising this correctly, this used to be a machine gun nest.

One of five striking rock heads on the Großer Arber, with a fantastic view in all directions! Can be reached without any problems with skis and a short, easy via ferrata 👍 What is particularly impressive (weather permitting) is the view of the impressive Northern Alpine chain, approx. 150 km away 🤩
