A truly beautiful church. More or less hidden away in the vineyards of Gaas, but a hike up here is definitely worthwhile.

Beautiful, imposing church. Around the main square, you'll find plenty of places to rest, as well as the statue of the Virgin Mary and the Burgenland Story House.

A pleasant route, good infrastructure. Swimming lake in Rechnitz. Also of interest is the Kreuzstadl memorial in Rechnitz. In Bad Tatzmannsdorf, be sure to stop by the Spiegel chocolate factory and/or the Kaplan pastry shop. On Wednesday mornings, the weekly market in Oberwart has a very special atmosphere.

An old watchtower from dark times. Fortunately, that is no longer necessary today. The tower is fenced off so that no one would even think of climbing up.

It is a very nice cycle path with a rest area to Gr. Petersdorf with repair tools and a rest area near Rechnitz are both very nice. This railway path is also highly recommended for families. Don't forget the wooden locomotive in Hannersdorf with a playground and pasture area.

The storm left a mark on the pavement of the Bahntrassen-radweg, so I had to avoid it... It was worth it! I also admired the church and the wooden locomotive. In fact, both together.
