Firstly, the view from the Josefswarte is magnificent: the Vienna Woods and the foothills lie at your feet. Secondly, you can stop for a bite to eat at the Kammersteiner Hut. The food is delicious. 👍

The Vöslauer Hut is a wonderful place for a relaxing break in the southern Vienna Woods. The coffee is excellent and the friendly staff ensure a pleasant atmosphere. With a beautiful terrace and good food, including classic Viennese sausages, the hut invites you to linger. The view that can be enjoyed from near the Jubiläumswarte is particularly recommended, with a distant view of the foothills of the Alps and the Schneeberg. The hut hosts are always courteous and the good, down-to-earth cuisine ensures a successful hiking experience.

Not far from the scenic Wilhelmswarte and the Klesheimwarte is the Anninger-Schutzhaus, a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The shelter not only offers culinary delights, but also a cozy garden where you can stop for a break. The warm atmosphere and the homemade specialties are particularly appreciated. A visit is worthwhile for anyone who wants to take a relaxing break after a hike on the Anninger.

The refuge is a popular stop for hikers, mountain bikers, cross-country skiers and tobogganists.

The cozy forest hut (572 m) is located southwest of Vienna on the Hinterer Föhrenberg in the Vienna Woods. It is a year-round destination for hikers looking for nature experiences just outside the capital. The house, which is open all year round, offers an ideal starting point to the Josefswarte viewing platform. From there, hikers can see the entire Vienna Basin eastwards to the Leitha and Rosalien Mountains, the Hundsheim Mountains and the Little Carpathians. To the west the view falls on the foothills of the Alps. The hut has a large terrace and offers numerous hiking opportunities through the Vienna Woods. In winter the region is also popular with snowshoe hikers. You can't stay overnight here.

As early as 1881, the Perchtoldsdorf Beautification Association erected a wooden observation tower on the summit of the 575 m high Hinteren Föhrenberg.
