Coming from Klippitztörl, continue at the junction on the ridge towards Wolfsberger Hütte / Diex or turn left downhill to the Ladinger Hütte.

To the right of the lake there is a small hidden waterfall, beautiful and not very busy. The path downhill is not marked here but is very clearly visible.

Beautiful circular tour from the Winterleitenhütte up and back over the Lavantsee with a wonderful panoramic view at the summit.

Very nice hiking destination, which can be quite challenging in the snowy months. When the weather is nice, a great view of the Mur and Lavant valleys; And a view that shows Styria from a perspective that is foreign to East Styrians ;) The weather is difficult to assess and in mid-August can change quickly between rain and sunshine several times. Hood over 2000m is always good.

The art and nature project around the Längsee was launched by the Sankt Georgen am Längsee tourism association and realized by the sculptor Andrés Klimbacher. 8 sculptures make up a prose text by Tina & Andrés Klimbacher.

The lake is 1000 meters above sea level and is very nice to relax in.

Wonderful view and beautiful summit cross. From up here you can see endless distances when the weather is nice. The Zirbitzkogel is well attended, which is why it is usually difficult to find a place at the Zirbitzkogel shelter. You can choose from different routes to the Zirbitzkogel. Whether easy or strenuous. There is something for everybody. The route from the Waldheimhütte is particularly beautiful.
