Lake Plesching near Linz is a popular destination and offers ideal conditions for cyclists. A flat, approximately two-kilometer-long circular route runs directly along the water and is perfect for leisurely rides or family outings. The lake is located near the Danube Cycle Path and is easily accessible via lakeside paths, making it a worthwhile detour for touring cyclists. For more ambitious cyclists, a variety of mountain bike trails start nearby at Pfenningberg. With seating areas, restaurants, playgrounds, and well-maintained lawns for sunbathing, Lake Plesching is also an ideal spot for a relaxing break during a bike tour.

Even if you are just driving past, it is a beautifully situated bathing pond.

Bypassing the power plant canal for fish. The Magerbach is used here as a fish ladder to bypass the Jaukerbach (Kleinmünchen power plant). The second part of the fish ladder is at the bridge on the Saporoshjestrasse over the Jaukerbach. It is also a popular place for dogs and people (to cool their feet) to cool off.

The Peleschinger See is a bathing lake and part of the Steyregg recreation area near Linz. Located directly on the Danube Cycle Path, it is a great opportunity to take a break. But the lake invites you to linger in all seasons. Also e.g. in the fall for a walk.

The "Weikerlsee Bridge" is a beautiful sight at any time of the day. It is especially worth a visit at sunset. 📸
