The Nepomuk Chapel in Feuersbrunn, in the municipality of Grafenwörth, was built in 1854 by Christian Böhm. It is a wide wayside chapel with classical stucco detailing, decorative bands, a triangular gable, and a continuous cornice. The entrance features a wrought-iron gate by Franz Zelenka. Inside, there is a wooden statue of Saint John Nepomuk, flanked by two Baroque candlesticks. The chapel is a listed building and a significant example of 19th-century religious architecture in the region.

Fels Castle in Fels am Wagram houses the local history museum, which collects and displays historical objects from the everyday lives of previous generations. It is also an important meeting place for local clubs and communities. The history of the town is strongly influenced by viticulture: The Schloss Fels winery, associated with the castle, is one of Austria's largest wineries and boasts a historic wine cellar whose origins date back to the 13th century. This cellar once served simultaneously as a tavern and post station on an important imperial road. The wine country surrounding Fels am Wagram, with its cellar lanes and scenic viewpoints, continues to make the town a popular destination for culture and wine enthusiasts.

The Peace Stupa in Wagram near Feuersbrunn is one of the largest Buddhist peace monuments in Europe. Built between 2016 and 2019 according to the design of Austrian architect Matthias Rainer, it reaches a height of 32.5 meters and a diameter of approximately 30 meters. Particularly noteworthy is the accessible interior, designed as a space for meditation and encounters. The ceremonial inauguration took place on June 4, 2023. Construction was privately financed through the Stupa Institute of the Austrian Buddhist Religious Society and carried out under the spiritual guidance of monk Bop Jon Sunim, who had previously been involved in the Hungarian Peace Stupa in Zalaszántó. Inside the stupa are relics of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni, presented by the Dalai Lama, while a gilded Buddha statue weighing approximately 700 kilograms sits atop it. A large peace bell and the surrounding garden with meditation paths, sculptures, and prayer flags invite spiritual contemplation. The stupa symbolizes peace, compassion, and religious tolerance and is open to all people regardless of their faith.

The route is particularly atmospheric in the morning or evening hours when the light is low and bathes the surroundings in warm colors. Thanks to the gentle topography, this section is not only scenic but also extremely comfortable to cycle. The cycle path between the Danube and the Krems rivers is in excellent condition: newly paved, wide, and level – ideal for cyclists of all experience levels. It runs directly along the water and, due to its open location, offers impressive views of the river landscape. On one side lies the tranquil Danube with its banks, while on the other, renaturalized, near-natural ditches and meadows accompany the path.

Grafenegg Castle lies a few kilometers west of Grafenwörth and is one of Lower Austria's most impressive castles. Originally built as a fortification in the Middle Ages, the castle was remodeled in the 19th century in the Historicist style with Neo-Gothic and Romantic elements. The richly decorated facades, towers, and oriels are particularly striking, giving the building its fairytale appearance. The expansive castle park was laid out in the 19th century as an English landscape garden. Ancient trees, expansive meadows, and artfully designed vistas create a harmonious blend of nature and architecture. Numerous sculptures and pavilions complete the picture. In summer, the park transforms into a grand stage: With the open-air Wolkenturm stage and the auditorium, Grafenegg is now an internationally renowned venue for classical music. A bike trip to Grafenegg Castle is worthwhile not only for the impressive architecture but also for the tranquil paths through the park. Here, art, history and nature can be enjoyed in a unique atmosphere – a place where culture and landscape merge into a special experience.

The section of the cycle path from the Tisza to the Danube leads from the Krems Bridge through a densely vegetated landscape, where the path winds between tall grasses and overhanging trees. In places, the vegetation reaches right up to the path, conveying a sense of seclusion and tranquility. This section is particularly attractive for cyclists, as it offers an intense nature experience and impressively conveys the transition from the open countryside to the Danube.
