An absolutely fantastic place. You have to earn it a little, but it's worth it! Great panoramic view of the mountains and Lake Constance. Two wooden huts invite you to take a rest, and everything is available for a barbecue. If you have a sleeping mat and sleeping bag with you, you could also spend the night here. A few meters further on is the Naturfreundehaus, which welcomes guests at the weekend.

The so-called "Gruberschlösschen" is a villa on the summit of the Hoyerberg. After Adolf Gruber inherited the Lindenhof estate from his brother in 1850, he acquired the vineyard – the eastern part of the Hoyerberg. Dora Gruber had a villa built on this vantage point in 1854 by the architect Christoph Kunkler from St. Gallen. The house bears similarities to the Schweizerhaus in Lindenhof Park, and the almost 15-meter-high, freestanding observation tower was built in the Italian style with a flat roof and an open top floor. On January 31, 1918, the Gruber family sold the Hoyerberg and the little castle to the municipality of Hoyren. Today, it is owned by the city of Lindau. Restaurant with a very nice view, nice service and good food, also typical regional selection on the menu.

Wonderful view. At the top you can also strengthen yourself in the restaurant. The descent is indicated on signs with 1 hour and 15 minutes. It took us a little less than an hour. Going up takes a little longer. According to Komoot, it was 510 meters in altitude and some sections are very steep. The cable car runs every 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Sundays only until 9 p.m.).

Here you get a panorama eye, with good visibility.

Beautiful viewing point with a view of Lake Constance, Säntis and the Alps. There is also a playground, kiosk, various viewing points, a restaurant, etc.

The Pfänder is the local mountain of the Austrian city of Bregenz on Lake Constance and is located in Vorarlberg. The mountain is almost 1100m high and in good weather you have an incomparable view over Lake Constance, but you have to be very lucky.
