Unfortunately, the inn is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (as of April 2024) The hiking trail is very beautiful, sturdy shoes are recommended.

Many roads lead to Rome - but also to the Schlossberg. The Schlossberg is the striking hill in Graz, on which the clock tower and the bell tower are visible from afar. The ensemble is the landmark of Graz. I highly recommend that you climb the Schlossberg from different sides. The castle mountain climb is exciting, but the less traveled paths are also a highlight.

A stop at the Alpengasthof is definitely worth it. Nice friendly service and good food. There is also a playground for the little ones. Simply TOP.

Very difficult for dogs to walk on, as the wooden planks are far apart and the dogs slip through with their paws. Risk of injury!

It's always a pleasure to be at the Schöckl. It is recommended to always do a Schöckl circuit on the plateau in order to be able to enjoy the all-round view. A culinary tip is the Stoawandhütte, excellent snacks and friendly people.
