Al Barsha Pond Park is an escape from the city in the heart of Al Barsha residential development. At the park, you will find both families and fitness enthusiasts who can make use of the 1.5km running track, children's cycling areas, bike rentals and fitness equipment, as well as various courts and play areas for children. The nearly 50-acre site, which includes a huge central pond, has several sandy and shaded play areas perfect for little ones, including playgrounds. Families come for the playgrounds, which offer a range of rides for toddlers, as well as swings and slides for school-age children. Thanks to the family-friendly facilities, easy parking, restrooms and spacious gardens, this park in Al Barsha is one of the community's favorite places to relax and exercise. At night, the park is illuminated by the floodlights, making it an ideal and relaxing place for a quiet evening.

The Dubai Fountain is the world’s tallest performing fountain. The Dubai Fountain is situated on the 30-acre Burj Lake and performs to a range of different songs from classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. When operational, the fountain has over 22,000 gallons of water in the air at any given moment. Quite an experience!

Thr old Fort also contains the Museum (currently closed for renovation). Well preserved ramparts of the historic city defense. Information display panel provides more details. The central mosque is more recent, on the square behind.
