The State House of Zambia, situated on Independence Avenue in Lusaka, serves as the official residence and principal workplace of the President. Designed by British architect Sir William Walcot, construction began in 1930 and was completed in 1934. Originally known as Government House, it was the official residence of colonial governors of Northern Rhodesia before Zambia's independence in 1964. The building is heavily guarded by the Presidential Guard, a special unit of the Zambia Army responsible for the president's protection. The compound is closed to the public, with only authorized personnel permitted entry.

Walking safari or MTB safari with the team from Remote Africa Safaris on the Luangwa River is a very special event. Under the guidance of a competent guide and an armed ranger from the Zambian wildlife protection authority, you get to know the flora and fauna of the region, read tracks, encounters with African wildlife including elephants, giraffes, etc.

Just gigantic

Located right on the edge of the waterfall. There it goes vertically 90m down without stopping. From the opposite it looks quite dramatic. how the guides walk on the rim and take Instagram/Facebook photos for tourists on the rim. From September to December it should even be relatively safe. Oh well. I was there at the end of November and it still looked crazy to do that.

Incredibly impressive natural spectacle, you can't get enough of it.
