In spring 2025, the house was renovated and is finally open again! The kitchen is wonderful again; normally closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

You can also stay overnight at the Tanzboden, for example, if you're hiking the Toggenburg High Trail. Please note, however, that reservations cannot be made from Sunday to Monday or Monday to Tuesday, as Monday is a day of rest. The lake lies at 983 m above sea level, surrounded by the peaks of Bärensoolspitz, Brünnelistock, and Rautispitz. It is fed by the Sulzbach stream and has no surface outflow. The Berghotel Obersee is located on the lake, offering views of the lake and Brünnelistock. Source: Wikipedia
