You can also stay overnight at the Tanzboden, for example, if you're hiking the Toggenburg High Trail. Please note, however, that reservations cannot be made from Sunday to Monday or Monday to Tuesday, as Monday is a day of rest. In summer there is a comfortable promenade path up to this point, and in winter there are several well-maintained ski slopes from the Maschgenkamm.

Ideal place to take a break and enjoy a coffee. Beautiful location on the Grosssee, wonderful view of the mountains, and - last but not least - very friendly service!

Currently (2023) a double experience. The hut is being remodeled and a base camp has been set up in its place. Camping in the Alps, recommended to everyone!
