A wonderful structure high above the abyss

The Salbithütte is a Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) mountain hut located at 2,105 metres above sea level in the Göscheneralptal in the canton of Uri. Built in 1931 and subsequently expanded, it offers 58 beds and is open from mid-June to mid-October. The hut is an ideal starting point for hikers and mountaineers, thanks to the sharp ridges, mighty towers and granite slabs around the Salbitschijen. A notable attraction is the Salbitbrücke, a 90-metre-long suspension bridge, which connects the Salbithütte to the Voralphütte, offering a unique experience for experienced hikers and those free from vertigo.

The Trüebsee (standard language: Trübsee, e.g. official name of the stop/station) is a mountain lake on the Alp Ober Trüebsee at an altitude of 1763 m above sea level in central Switzerland. It lies between the municipality of Engelberg and the Titlis mountain in the canton of Nidwalden, near the Jochpass (2207 m above sea level). I'm not afraid of heights. But the Titlis Cliff Walk was definitely not a particular challenge. The suspension bridge is not very long and luckily it doesn't wobble that much, even when there are a lot of people on it. And the view isn't too deep or 'empty'. The view is very beautiful. I wouldn't want to do it on weekends/holidays. Too many people blocking the way to take photos/selfies.

Trübsee The Trübsee, also Trüebsee, is a mountain lake above Engelberg, which is located in the municipality of Wolfenschiessen in the canton of Nidwalden. It is located at an altitude of 1764 meters above sea level between Schafberg and Bitzistock. The small lake is located on a high plateau in the Engelberg valley between Engelberg and the Titlis or the Jochpass. It is fed by the Trübseebach, which rises from the Titlis glacier, and flows into the Engelberger Aa in the Trübenbach. The maximum depth of the Trübsee is around nine meters. Beautiful hike on a very good mountain path. Great views and fantastic fauna

From various vantage points you have a breathtaking view of the turquoise mountain lake, which lies on a high plateau between Engelberg and Titlis. The scenery with the clear water and the surrounding mountains is simply spectacular and invites you to linger and take photos.
