Lac de Bretaye is a peaceful high-altitude lake nestled at 1,800 meters in the Vaud Alps. Surrounded by meadows and gentle peaks, it's an ideal spot for a quiet break, a picnic, or simply admiring the scenery. Easily accessible from Villars-sur-Ollon on foot or by cogwheel train, it offers a beautiful interlude in the heart of the mountains.

A great little hike with breathtaking views of the lake. There's a large section on tarmac depending on the route taken, but it's still a pleasant experience!

The Château de Chillon is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, near Montreux in Veytaux, Switzerland. This medieval and romantic castle is a precious historical jewel that has been enthroned on its rocky island for almost a millennium. The castle is located on the eastern shore of Lake Geneva, in a picturesque spot between Montreux and Veytaux. It has become famous thanks to literary works such as “La Nouvelle Héloïse” by Jean-Jacques Rousseau and “The Prisoner of Chillon” by Lord Byron. Lake Hongrin is an artificial basin located in the canton of Vaud. The water is treated in the Veytaux power plant and then flows into Lake Geneva. it is possible to bathe only in certain places. Also, since the area around the lake is a military shooting range, access during the week is often restricted or prohibited.

Lake Lioson is also known as the “Pearl of the Alpine Lakes”. You will enjoy views of mountains, forests, rivers and wildflowers. The trail is moderately difficult, with an elevation gain of 1,443 feet. The best time to visit this trail is from May to October, when the weather is pleasant and the lake is clear.
