Not far from the scenic Wilhelmswarte and the Klesheimwarte is the Anninger-Schutzhaus, a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The shelter not only offers culinary delights, but also a cozy garden where you can stop for a break. The warm atmosphere and the homemade specialties are particularly appreciated. Flat as a pan and beautiful scenery. I highly recommend Thermenradweg for people looking for an easy ride south of Vienna. While you are at it, visit Baden.

The Thermenradweg is a beautiful and leisurely cycle route that takes you from Vienna to Wiener Neustadt and on to Aspang. You can enjoy the landscape, the culture and the wine villages of the thermal region, as well as relax in the thermal baths of Baden and Bad Vöslau. The Thermenradweg is part of the EuroVelo 9, a Europe-wide long-distance cycle route that runs from the Baltic Sea to the Adriatic Sea.
