From Friedau, the climb is steady, so steep that your thighs will feel it. The castle ruins are especially worth the climb to the tower. The view over the Lipno Reservoir is breathtaking. Entrance fee for the tower climb is 100 CK.

The €4.50 entrance fee is considered a donation for its preservation. A sturdy wooden tower within the stone tower allows for easy ascent, and at the top, a magnificent 360° panoramic view, including information panels, is at the highest point in the entire area.

The driveway from Svaty Thomas to the castle is more suitable for MB, I could not find the fantastic panoramic view.
