A hot shower is available for a fee. The food and prices were okay, extra wool blankets were available, and the heating in the room, including the electrical outlet, was turned off during our stay.

Very modern, well-equipped hut, but also more expensive, especially the breakfast at 22 euros.

Delicious food and very friendly hosts

The Niedersachsenhaus is located at 2,471 meters between the Rauris and Gastein valleys and offers great views. The Tauern Höhenweg passes by here. There are 12 beds and 46 camp sites available for overnight stays. There are showers, but these can be closed if there is a water shortage after a long dry period. The Duisburger Hut is located at 2,572 m. The terrace faces south and is very sheltered from the wind and offers a great view of the Carnic Alps. Hut owner and manager Franzi, known as "Düsi", takes great care of his guests' physical well-being - highly recommended!

Nice hut with friendly host and delicious food

The Hagener Hütte has an outbuilding that serves as a winter room. Unfortunately there was no oven (as of January 2024), which is why it was very cold at night. Otherwise, the winter room is very clean and the warehouse is equipped with lots of blankets. The view is great!

Great hiking destination, 2 small passages are secured with ropes, but everything is manageable
