A very beautiful ride through the hills of the Rems-Murr district. Please note: if the tour planner indicates that parts of the tour are very difficult because you may have to push your bike, this may also mean that you will have to carry your bike (e.g., over fallen trees or in the riverbed).

Flat, mostly quiet cycle and footpath on the left and right banks with green strips and crossing options for changing banks

The Neckartalweg is usually very nice to cycle along.

Definitely the better bike path with great surface. On the other hand, there are strong bumps caused by the tree roots.

Actually two beautiful bridges on the lido. Unsuitable for taking photos due to the dirty windows

Bike path nice to ride. It can get very crowded on weekends though.

This is the alternative Neckar Valley cycle path, the official one runs along the other side of the river. But I personally find this route much nicer on this section and therefore absolutely recommendable!

From here you have a view of the Remseck, which was extensively redesigned for the State Garden Show 2019. The wooden bridges with glass-plate roofs, the beach (where swimming is not allowed), the sensationally located beer garden on the so-called Hechtkopf (closed in May 2021, of course), the footbridge on the Rems and much more can be explored here. A detour is very worthwhile. I can well understand that the place is used by many people as a destination for excursions
