Here you can observe the many water birds in the bird sanctuary in complete privacy. Plus, a beautiful view of the lake 🤩

Lake Erlach is currently the last refuge for amphibians in the Oberwald. The previously declining amphibian population was counteracted by the targeted design of the water body. Here they find a habitat that the floodplain landscape of the Rhine had offered them since time immemorial, before human cultivation destroyed it.

From here, you can easily observe birds without disturbing them. Beautiful view over the lake.

A wetland biotope created by humans - individual sections were designed to meet the needs of different animal species 👍👏 Beautiful view of the lake and many birds from the observation point (a protected shelter with viewing slits). Circuit around the lake approx. 2 km.

Well-kept new hut with a view over Ettlingen and the Rhine plain. It's even better from a freestanding bank nearby. In terms of perspective, however, there are nicer vantage points in the vicinity for me, the direction of view is rather limited, especially in the direction of the Palatinate Forest.

Here you have a great view of the Rhine Valley. Also here is a nice break lacation.
