The Reichenhaller Haus is located directly below the summit of the Hochstaufen mountain at approximately 1,750 meters and is a popular stop for hikers and via ferrata climbers. The Alpine Club hut offers a cozy atmosphere, simple overnight accommodations, and a wonderful sun terrace with impressive views over Bad Reichenhall, the Salzach Valley, and as far as Lake Chiemsee. Due to its exposed location, the Reichenhaller Haus is only accessible on foot—either via various mountain trails or the challenging Pidinger Klettersteig (via ferrata). It serves many mountaineers as a rest stop before the final ascent to the summit or as the destination of a scenic day tour.

Finally, the Reichenhaller Haus is leased again... Now you can enjoy the view with catering... from the terrace you have a wonderful view of the Bad Reichenhall area

The restaurant in the old forester's lodge in Adlgaß is also open in winter. Behind the forester's lodge there is a beautiful toboggan run and a toboggan slope. There are warm drinks outside and delicious food in the restaurant.

Highly recommended, the beer garden is very pleasantly situated on a lawn. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Invites you to come back, very good food.

There's hardly a more beautiful hut in this area than the Reichenhaller Haus. Despite the arduous climb and the deprivation of washing due to a lack of water, you'll be rewarded with one of the most beautiful views anywhere.

Currently, the Reichenhaller Haus is not yet leased for 2024... what a pity... but the view is still unique

Ideal break stop on the descent from Zwiesel or Zennokopf... a cold beer and delicious cakes are perfect for a little refreshment

The small wooden hut belongs to the Zwieselalm and is two meters away... If there is no more space at the tables, you can retreat there
