Thanks to the "Geniesserpfad Turmsteige" hike, I finally managed to get to Hochkopf, and here a beautiful tower from ancient times awaited me with a fantastic panoramic view over the Black Forest to the Swiss Alps. Below the tower there is a large picnic area for hikers and bikers.

The Hochkopfturm is at a height of 1267 m. The tower can also be climbed. From the top you have a great 360° view. The Swiss Alps are particularly impressive! There is also a large rest area here with lots of benches and tables.

The Lehenkopf, which is 1,039 meters above sea level, is complemented by the 18-meter-high tower, which offers a reasonable view of the southern Black Forest landscape. The footpath from the mountain station to the tower is very good in the lower area, from the halfway point it is no longer signposted. It's steadily uphill on narrow paths, but it's worth it.
