On this occasion, the people of Schallenberg also had the Blasius chapel built as a burial church. The beautiful, baroque high altar of the parish church, which is regaining importance as a place of pilgrimage to the Virgin Mary, should not be overlooked when visiting Niederwaldkirchen. In the years 1715-1735 the imposing baroque vicarage was built. It is not known who really was the master builder, but similar dimensions were used as in St. Florian or in the rectory of Ansfelden, which is almost the same age.
