This great rest area is located on the block line and is easy to recognize from the imposing wooden portals, milestones and wonderfully designed animals as motif milestones along the way. On the way there are other idyllic resting places of this kind to linger.

At this BLOCKLINE location (Frauenstein shelter, Gimmlitztal), you might encounter a black woodpecker. Starting from the starting point (Holzhau), you are at kilometer 57.4 of the BLOCKLINE route (stage 7). From here, it's another 3.5 km to the stage finish in Frauenstein.
