ゼッケンドルフ男爵家は神聖ローマ皇帝からトリーエスドルフを授かり、1600年にブランデンブルク＝アンスバッハ辺境伯に売却されるまで所有していました。小さな水城であるゼッケンドルフ城は、1454年に男爵家によって小さな城塞として建設されました。この城または城には、跳ね橋のある門楼が付属していました。この門楼は、今日でも見ることができる最後の遺構です。かつての所属により、門楼は今日でもゼッケンドルフ城と呼ばれることがよくあります。すぐ隣にある白い城は、辺境伯の時代の後に建てられたもので、辺境伯の庭師（庭師の家）の近くにある古い庭園の城も同様です。

素晴らしい目的地です。美しいシュピールベルク城と彫刻公園の両方があります。特に夕暮れ時には、アルトミュール湖とヘッセルベルクの素晴らしい景色が楽しめます。

Very beautiful castle with many works of art

The only existing building of Seckendorff Castle is the gatehouse, a two-storey half-timbered building with a saddle roof, which dates back to 1676/77.

The Wernfels Castle is always worth a hike, if only because of the breathtaking view that the very well-kept complex offers, in the complex there is a youth hostel with individual use, among other events for young and old. The castle has been renovated in a modern way and has the flair of the Middle Ages not lost.

Absolutely worth seeing facility with castle and associated landscape park. Admission is currently €15 and contributes to the maintenance of the facility. The castle park was laid out by the "green" Baron Süsskind, who did almost all the planting here himself.
