The Red Tower in Bad Wimpfen is an impressive defensive tower from the Hohenstaufen period. It is the eastern keep of the imperial palace and was built from massive humped ashlars. The tower served as the last refuge of the castle lord in the event of an attack.

The Trappensee Castle is a really beautiful photo subject. From the bridge, with the reflection of the castle in the background, the photo is truly unique. I enjoy the view every time and one of my favorite photos comes from here.

When the weather is not so good and in the autumn months, the umbrella bar offers a sheltered space to enjoy the view. Panoramic beer garden & umbrella bar in the park The beer garden has 750 seats in the middle of the old trees in the park of Stettenfels Castle. The menu offers a wide variety of food and drinks.
