Beautiful hiking area with many different trails that offer good views of the lake even in winter.

Great, rustic and sometimes adventurous path to the observation point. If the wood gets wet you have to be careful. It then quickly becomes slippery.

Great uncrowded lake. Only cars pay for the parking ticket.

Very nice local recreation area on the southern outskirts of Karlsruhe. Playgrounds, model boat lake, rowing boat rentals, large lawns and Mount Klotz, from which, with good visibility, you can see the Palatinate Forest and the Black Forest. At the western end of the Günther-Klotz-Anlage is the "Cool Krug" with a beer garden and home-brewed beer.

Mount Klotz :) the home of the festival in Karlsruhe! ... but not only: along the Alb there are many places to sit, chill, read or ponder. Whether with children, dogs, bikes or on foot, there is room for everyone! Definitely make a stop at the "Kuhler Krug".
