Great alp with delicious food 👍 and a beautiful view

Located at 1,170 meters, the Hochleite mountain inn can be reached via a steep climb from Schwand or a steep descent from Schönblick (Söllereckbahn cable car). ☺️ The terrace offers a beautiful view of the Allgäu mountains. The food and drinks are delicious. The inn is highly recommended! 👍

Very nice inn. Delicious food, large selection (sometimes something different as usual) and nice staff. Due to the corona rule, please pay attention to the signs at the tables (green=free, red=blocked). Starting point for numerous hikes.

Great selection of food and drinks and super friendly staff. Great opportunity to take a break on the descent or ascent from/to Söllereck.

Mountain station 1,932m (Nebelhornbahn), great starting point for many different hiking tours with different levels of difficulty.

The Gaisalpe is an old, rustic inn. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside under old chestnuts. The dishes are very tasty. Several hiking trails converge here.

If you have the opportunity, just enjoy it. When we went to the Allgäu for a short vacation, we were unlucky. Fog as far as the eye could see. That, in turn, had something from above the clouds.
