From the east side of the Edertalsperre the very beautiful place can be reached via the route with the blue dot. Likewise the pulpit view of the dam of the Edersee. Ascent and descent are quite sporty for the first few meters. But it's worth it. Also because of the wonderful jungle of the national park.

The pulpit with its four thrones and the refuge is a beautiful resting place with a wonderful view of the Edersee and Waldeck Castle.

The construction work has now been completed. The people in charge have come up with something really good here. A well-kept excursion restaurant, brand new, in a rustic style - just chivalrous - a great outdoor area with a small playground and an indescribable view from the restaurant and, if you dare, also from the old tower.
