この光景はいつも見られるとは限りません。雪解け水や激しい雨だけが、斜面から水が湧き出たり、流れ落ちたりして、石灰華（トラバーチン）の岩の上をせせらぎます。 雪解け水と雨水は、Monkbergのカルスト化した石灰岩を浸透し、水をせき止め、さらに流すWeißen Jura Alphaの泥灰岩層に到達します。その後、Untere Haldeの谷の切り割りに、いわゆる層状の泉として現れ、その過程で水との結合から溶け出した石灰分を石灰華（トラバーチン）として堆積させます。

Another waterfall in Zillhausen. Currently carrying only a small amount of water, but still beautiful to look at.

Today, we had to search a bit for the water in the Röttenbach stream. Just above the waterfall, there's a bench (the Röttenbacher Bänkle).

The Kohlstattbrunnenbach stream runs beautifully along the hiking trail. Water cascades can be seen again and again. You also pass the spring.

I'll come back in the spring after the snow melts; it's sure to be a magnificent spectacle.

Now in autumn there is only a small waterfall. But I can well imagine that it will really take off after the snow melts
