The bike path crosses the road once. Coming from Simonshofen toward Bullach, I would switch to the road here. If you continue along the bike path, you'll soon briefly pass through a wooded area and then through a residential area. You can do it, it's not a big deal, but the road is nicer and uninterrupted here.

The road between the turnoff to Pommer and Weingarts was completely rebuilt in mid to late 2024, so it now has a top surface and is fun :-)

The Evangelical Lutheran parish church of St. Mark (usually called St. Mark's Church for short) in Erlangen is a city-defining post-war modernist church building with stylistic echoes of traditional Franconian sacred architecture. Named after the Evangelist Mark, the church is now a listed building. The St. Mark's congregation is now made up of around 4,300 Protestant Christians in the east of Erlangen, as well as in Buckenhof and Spardorf.[1] The previously nameless square in front of the church has been called St. Mark's Square since 2018.
