The Bründling Alm is located at an altitude of 1,167 meters in the Hochfelln area. It is one of the oldest and therefore most traditional alpine pastures in the Chiemgau and is managed all year round.

At this point you have a perfect view of the Hochfelln summit cross. And of course also down to the Cheimsee :-) The place can be reached via the summit circular path (geological educational trail). Unfortunately, at the time of my tour, all the teaching boards were dismantled.

Nice mountain with good hiking trails and great views. There are also plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat. Due to the cable car operation, it is also heavily visited

The ascent over the Fotstweg is not really nice because cars are constantly driving past you. The pasture itself is great. Nicely located, there are great drinks and a great Kaiserschmarrn. The prices are ok. The descent past the waterfalls is very entertaining. You should be sure-footed there.

The ascent of Hochfelln is much more beautiful along the south side, via the Jägersteig and Hinteralm, then briefly towards Eschelmoos and then climbing northwards to the top, via a very varied, narrow mountain path. (see my route)

The view from the Hefteralm is beautiful. There you can comfortably dine indoors and on the terrace. I find the price of almost 13 € for 1 serving of Kaiserschmarrn very high.
