The Lenggrieser Hütte was a good starting point for our upcoming tours, friendly and helpful staff, the food is plentiful and served super quickly, when I think of the portion of Kaiserschmarren, which I can only recommend to everyone.

Anyone who has hiked the 6 km up here can fortify themselves here. Awesome view included.

Great view of the foothills of the Alps, the lakes and the Alps... not nearly as busy as on the Herzogstand 🤩 Super nice rustic hut.

After the sometimes steep ascent, the view from up here is your reward! Small but fine menu, very nice staff!

The name of the alp apparently goes back to the grouse, which can still be found here alongside grouse, roe deer and deer. In any case, the emblem and the murals in the interior indicate this. Be that as it may, the tour to the Aueralm is a classic at any time of the year. At the top there are wonderful views of the Tegernsee mountains, especially to the neighboring Hirschberg. As an Alpine Club hut, the Lenggrieser Hut is open all year round. The earlier day of rest no longer exists in summer. The offer includes changing, wholesome meals, such as various Bavarian delicacies from regional sources, from roast pork to bacon dumplings to potato soup. The interior is solidly and rustically designed. There is a large terrace on the southern gable side. In addition to the main building, there are several outbuildings. Great view, great food and generally a great place for lunch. But it is very well attended at the appropriate times.

Nicer than the rather crowded Herzogstand, but there is also a lot going on here.
