フライベルク湖は海抜930メートルに位置しています。約16ヘクタールの水面を持つ、アルゴイ地方で最大の高山湖です。フライベルク湖には、目に見える流入河川や流出河川はありません。周期的に変動する水位は、地下の流入河川や流出河川によって調整されています。この湖は、スティラッハ氷河の氷塊が現在の場所の上に700〜800メートルの高さでそびえ立っていた氷河期に形成されました。

Very beautiful idyllic natural bathing lake. Due to its size there is the possibility of boating. Great terrace with a view of the Heini-Klopfer ski jump. There is also a restaurant (self-service). There is a circular route around the lake.
