When the weather is nice there are many paragliders. The Merkur, Baden-Baden's local mountain, is often well attended because the cable car also goes up.

The Hohlohturm, also known as the Kaiser Wilhelm Turm, towers over the Hohlohmoor. A beautiful boardwalk with many benches and views of the Hohlohsee leads through the moor. The Hohlohmoor is a retreat for the endangered capercaillie.
