A beautiful rest area with breathtaking views over the Einrich and far into the Taunus Mountains. Katzenelnbogen and the small villages lie at your feet.

The remains of the felled, 300-year-old oak tree can be found on the nature trail. An impressive tree, it's a shame that it had to be felled in 2006. There are many other stations, a playground, sound games, etc. to experience the forest here - interesting not only for children!

The district boundaries of Schönborn and Hahnstätten meet on the Ergenstein. There used to be a lookout point here, but it is now overgrown. The Hahnstätter Heimat- und Verschönerungsverein has erected a shelter at this spot. Immediately next to the hut, a path leads to the boundary stone, which is about 150 meters away.
