Small, quiet road, nice to drive

Once you have overcome the small climb from Riedhausen, you will be rewarded with a gentle, shady and quiet descent without much traffic.

At the moment the road surface is torn up for a short stretch, but the route is still rideable by racing bike

St. Peter's Parish Church defines the cityscape like no other building. Its striking twin towers greet you from afar and are reflected in the city lake, near which the church is built on a gravel ridge. You'll find many churches with two towers, but the angled arrangement on the magnificent west façade is rare, if not unique.

Beautiful half-timbered houses in the village. They have been extensively renovated and everything has been done right.

The Schlosssee is also located in the middle of the city, but is not developed for tourism as there are hardly any public accesses to the lake shore. The lake is owned by the princely house of Waldburg-Wolfegg.
