One of several places in the Monbach Valley where you have to cross the stream over large stone blocks. Depending on the water level or precipitation, some caution is required to avoid slipping.

Super great hiking route with lots of greenery and an idyllic path right by the stream. Just to enjoy.

Even the rustic "feeder path" from Seitzental to the bat path, with some adventurous stream crossings, is definitely recommended for sure-footed people.

The small waterfall (the largest in the gorge) is actually the most beautiful spot in the valley. Magnificent rocks - some you can sit on. A wonderful place of power - especially when there is not so much going on.
