The view of the Old Castle Hohenbaden is spectacular: the castle ruins tower over Baden-Baden and offer a wide view as far as the Rhine Valley and the Vosges Mountains.

The New Palace towers over the old town of Baden-Baden. Once the residence of the Margraves, today privately owned, it is impressive from the outside, offering magnificent views from the Florentinerberg hill.

Where the Count of Eberstein and later the Margrave of Baden once resided, Alt-Eberstein Castle now attracts visitors with stunning views over the Rhine Valley and a charming castle café.

The castle hotel has been closed since 2010. However, it is far from becoming a classic lost place. The external condition is impeccable. The building appears to be well maintained. It is also monitored by cameras. You can't get really close. Unfortunately, you can't get to the back either to enjoy the view of the valley

The market or Marienbrunnen fountain in Baden Baden is a drinking water fountain. A total of seven public fountains in the city center of Baden-Baden are approved as drinking fountains. The tap water that flows from the fountains is continuously analyzed. The fountains themselves are also cleaned and checked regularly.
