Opposite Villa Dennis is the new research building for timber construction at the TU Kaiserslautern. There are boards in front of the building that explain what is happening here.

The villa was the country residence of the engineer and railway pioneer Paul Camille von Denis. Since 2007 sold to the Foundation for the TU Kaiserslautern. It uses this as the headquarters of the foundation and as a conference center.
