The Schatzalp and the historic hotel of the same name lie above Davos at 1,862 meters. A funicular takes you up from Davos Platz in four minutes. Built in 1900, this Art Nouveau hotel is a member of Swiss Historic Hotels and a real eye-catcher amidst the idyllic mountain scenery. There are two ways to reach the Parpaner Rothorn: either by taking the cable car or by embarking on a challenging and strenuous hike. If you choose the latter option, you'll need sturdy footwear.
