The Church of Our Lady in Trier is located next to Trier Cathedral in the city center. It is considered the oldest Gothic church in Germany. The garden between the church and the cathedral is particularly fascinating. It is a magical yet tranquil place.

This large rectangular brick building was originally the auditorium of the imperial palace that Constantine had built around 310. The imposing building has been renovated several times, but was restored to its original state in the 19th century. A Protestant church has been located there since 1954. Due to its enormous dimensions, the very simple interior is particularly impressive.
