Beautiful mountain hut on the shore of the Giglachsee. Especially the location makes this mountain hut a real recommendation! The food at the hut itself as well as the sleeping places leave something to be desired.

Closed in winter, but the open winter room protects against wind and weather. A bed with a blanket is provided, as is a heater, although I believe you have to pay 1 euro for that. It's the same in other winter rooms, at least the ones I know of.

The Seethalerhütte on the Dachstein is located at 2,740 m, making it the highest mountain hut in Upper Austria. Surrounded by the eternal ice of the Dachstein glacier, the hut is located in a breathtaking setting and offers a wonderful view of the mountains all the way to the Großglockner. Delicious food, friendly service, great panoramic windows in the dining room and a beautiful sun terrace with a mountain panorama. What more could you want?? Oh, and you can also stay overnight 😉. The hut offers overnight accommodation and delicious food served by friendly service. In addition, a top location on Hüttensee. We recommend.

Very friendly run alpine club hut with excellent food and enough sleeping places. The location is fantastic and for overnight stays on the Schladminger Tauern Höhenweg is ideal. I was already on the road here on the Höhenweg in 2021.

A beautiful managed hut at the end of the gorge. Here you have the option of hiking back via ferratas or the high-altitude trail.

The first hut was built on this site in 1929 and managed by Sepp Seethaler for 50 years. The new hut, planned by Dreiplus Architekten from Innsbruck, was opened at the end of 2018.
