The Hausbachfall in Reit im Winkl is an impressive waterfall located in the middle of an idyllic gorge on the edge of the town center. The Hausbach stream plunges down several steps, offering visitors a fascinating natural spectacle. A hiking trail with walkways and bridges leads directly through the narrow gorge, allowing visitors to experience the waterfall up close. Especially in spring, when meltwater causes the stream to swell, the Hausbachfall reveals its full power. It is a popular destination for families, nature lovers, and hikers who want to enjoy the unique combination of water, rock, and forest.

Reit im Winkl's waterfall, the Hausbachfall, is a small landmark of the town. The Hausbach stream rushes down the Hausberg mountain in the north, very close to the town center. Especially after heavy rainfall, enormous masses of water rush down through the gorge. In hot, dry summers, however, it is sometimes barely visible. Very nice circular walk with great spots. The descent at the end of the walk is a bit steep, but otherwise doable. The gorge itself is very beautiful.
