The slope of the terrain here is astonishing. A jungle-like gorge leads to the mill, which is clearly visible from a bridge next to the Baptist church. The building is now a private residence; a water wheel, visible in historical views, no longer exists.

Kvissel is a small village of around 350 inhabitants. Kvissel's railway station is located on the Vendsyssel railway line and around it the city has been built. Kvissel's church was inaugurated on November 23rd, 1919.
