A 20th-century cross, located just before/after the well-known St. Anne's Chapel at a crossroads. The cross is cataloged by the municipality of Aubel, but without any specifications other than "20th century." The chapel has its own unique highlight.

From this vantage point, you have a panoramic view of Gulpen and the surrounding hilly landscape of South Limburg. The Geul River winds through the valley, surrounded by green meadows, orchards, and characteristic Limburg villages.

The Chapelle Sainte-Anne in Aubel is a historic field chapel dating from 1658, located on Eyckerweg northwest of the village center. Dedicated to Saint Anne, the chapel was rebuilt in the early 19th century using brick on a sandstone base, retaining the original 17th-century limestone facade. Inside, there is a wooden altar with a statue of Saint Anne holding a bunch of grapes, a symbol of fertility, and a polychrome statue of the Virgin Mary from the same period.

The Mariakapel Heijenrath is a chapel in Heijenrath in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem in the Dutch province of Limburg. The chapel is located on the Crapoel plateau at a crossroads of roads leading to Landsrade, Teuven, Slenaken, and Beutenaken (Grote Bosweg through the Groote Bosch). The chapel was founded around 1715 by Jan de Ney. During the French Revolution, the chapel was used as a secret church. The current chapel was built in the second half of the 19th century, using building materials from the previous chapels. On December 16, 1996, the chapel was registered as a national monument.

The Goudsberg is a hill between Walem and Valkenburg located on the Steenstraat in the Dutch province of Limburg. The Goudsberg is in fact a protrusion of the Central Plateau in the Geuldal. The highest point is approximately 140 m above NAP. The name Goudsberg could be a reference to the color of the sand that is visible under the humus layer. The color would have been caused by iron-containing water from older higher sources on the plateau. According to another theory, the original name would have been "Godsberg".
