Rode it in early March, decent concrete surface on first 25% and last 25%, with decent hard packed gravel in between. It has been a wet Feb but did not rain few days before the ride, I found there was a small section of muddy section but generally is really good. Very much suitable for gravel bike but not recommended for 26mm skinny tyres. I think my road bike with 32mm may does the job as well.

At Collidicote Road there is a uneven lay-by.

Take tracked section, not the one with steps, please be beware prickly plants and nettles

There track which goes to the side and over the bridge, please note there is gate there which goes to Sparrowhall Farm

Lots of bridleway gates to open along this stretch!
