The story of the resident swan/goose pair is truly interesting. Originally, there were several swans, geese, and ducks, almost all of which were taken by a fox(?), but a swan and a goose remained and became inseparable! When they thought it would be better to separate them, the swan was visibly unhappy, and they brought her back!
