Really nice place to visit

One of the best Sunday roast I’ve had!

Great place to park and the start of lots of trails and the most fantastic roast dinner on a Sunday

If you visit St Peter's Church, don't miss two majestic ancient yews in the churchyard. The bigger one has an opening large enough to get in (in case of rain...you never know!) . According to a legend, the spirit of a witch lives in the 'cave', and if you walk around the interior three times, you will summon her. I haven't tried 😆

This is a lovely area of heathland which is particularly beautiful in the bright colours of autumn.

A public right of way passes through Winkworth Arboretum. If you want to explore further please make sure you pay the entry fee at the gate. It is free if you are a National Trust member.

The Merry Harriers Pub is a gorgeous 16th-century Inn located in the Surrey Hills AONB near Godalming. The pub serves great food, fantastic ales, and has a number of boutique bedrooms onsite for overnight stays. The beer garden is a wonderful spot to wash down the hard work, and make sure to look out for the friendly llama who can often be seen roaming the grounds.
